Saveetha College of Nursing, Saveetha Dental College was established in the year 1992 to ease out the Nursing scarcity in the country and to meet out the health needs of the community. The college strives to provide quality education and training in the field with the help of its dedicated staff, state-of-the-art infrastructure, equipment and facilities. The College of Nursing has affiliations with ESI Hospital, Govt.Hospital,Tiruvallore, Institute of Mental Health, Institute of Public Health, Chennai-56. Billroth Hospital, Primary Health Centre - Porur and Naravari Kuppam The campus is situated on Poonamallee High Road, at the commencement of the By-pass road on Chennai-Bangalore National Highway No.4, in a calm and serene atmosphere. The various departments of the college have state-of-the-art dental laboratories equipped with full range of diagnostic equipment required for diagnosis of various diseases.

27 years of excellence in nursing which is established in the year 1992 with the point of convergence on comprehensive preparation of nurses and continuation of odyssey towards Silver Jubilee year. The main objective is to concentrate on nursing education and research. The inception of the college is to fulfil the demand of nurses nationally and globally. It was started with the motto of preparing nurses to serve the needy people in the rural area. Hence it was established in the midst of villages. SCON is an evolving organization which will prepare competent professional graduate nurses for diverse health care delivery and leadership roles.
