About Our Lady College of Education, Chennai

Madha TTI has been approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and also recognized by Directorate of Teacher Education Research and Training (DTERT), Govt. of Tamil Nadu.

The Teacher Training course is designed to help the trainees achieve academic excellence, professional competence and a commitment to serve the community. It prepares the students to become efficient teachers in elementary & middle schools. The training leads to the award of Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.).

Our Lady College of Education, a unit of Madha Group of Academic Institutions, run by Loordhu Ammal Educational Trust, offers the following courses :

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – 1 year
M.Ed. (Master of Education) – 1 Year

Loordhu Ammal Educational Trust was founded in the year 1999 by Dr.S.Peter, the Founder - Chairman of Madha Group of Institutions. Being the registered Christian Minority Trust, it is managed by Mrs. P. Elizebeth Rani M.C.A., the daughter of Dr.S.Peter. The trust runs Madha Arts and Science College and Our Lady Matriculation School.
