Admission Notices

The need to start a college for women when there are so many already around the city is an obvious question. But when it comes to a question of offering quality education and just quality education, the question automatically gets answered and disappears. I have had considerable experience in the field of education and when I floated the college (Kumararani Meena Muthiah college) in the year 1996 and changed the status in 2001 into Co-Education Institution my mind was preoccupied with two concerns. Very important ones indeed. How best to preserve the tradition that i have inherited, to offer education with the best of values. Not just education across the counter but how best to ingrain the values with the best of education. They are inseparable as I see it. In simpler terms give them knowledge, power and self-reliance through education fused with national pride and patriotic values.

Even a casual glance at our logo will speak about our commitment. The three words: Strive, Save & Serve. Three "S"s that says yes to what value-based education is, what we stand for. To lead a meaningful life, good for the individual, for the society he lives in and the entire country, is the motto behind our logo - a flagship of values.

Our Institution is not just studies and syllabus. It is a temple of learning to live with knowledge, dignity and values. Our education updated every year. Not only laboratories; not only computers; not only internet; but lot a more. How to serve society better on a human level & in social service activities; community development work, environmental studies and practice, sports, recreational activities like music, dance, threatre and holding competitions to nourish and nurture talent. Our Students participate in competitions at State and National levels and have won laurels and brought honour to the Institution. Character-building is our hall mark with the hope of making life a Paradise on earth.

How to make the best use of this century? And what to study? You name it and we have it in our college. This is a continually extending horizon and nothing can limit our dedication, commitment and our cause.

Kumararani Meena Muthiah College of Arts and Science, Chennai offers various graduate courses as well as Post Graduate courses.
