To mark the silver jubliee of the establishment of Sriram Educational Trust,the late Thiru.M.E.Devarajan's,former Founder Chairman, envisaged a programme in 2007 to establish new educational institutes viz., Arts & Science college for women,Polytechnic college and a Higher Secondary school,in its own extensive lands of about 108 grounds,situated at Vyasarpadi to cater to the needs of students desiring to pursue higher academic and professional courses of studies.
The management board of trustees under the distinguished chairmanship of Hon'ble Dr.Justice S.Mohan has taken upon itself of fuilfilling the noble vision of the late Thiru.M.E.Devarajan,and has drawn out extensive schemes of constructing new buildings which when completed would provide the best infrastructural facilities of the super-models of higher educational institutions located in North Madras - a unique vision indeed! The proposed colleges will be afflicated to the University of Madras, and also approved by DOTE,UGC and AICTE,New Delhi.
