BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT: Department started in April – 1988 with one Professor, two lecturers and two tutors.Upgraded in 1989 with one Professor & HOD, two Associate Professor, two lecturers and two tutors 1995 Hospital complex with 3 Major operating rooms and one Minor O.T. Multi specialty ICU with 10 beds. 1997 P.G. studies started admitted Two M.D. candidates and four D.A. Candidates had Two Professors, Three Associate Professors Four Lecturers and Four Tutors.
A 13th State Level Anaesthesia Conference & CME was conducted during Sept. 1997.1999 First Diploma Anaesthesiology exam conducted under M.C.I Inspectors supervision.2000 First M.D. Anaesthesiology exam conducted under supervision of M.C.I Inspectors.
