Department of Biotechnology

Department of Biotechnology was established in the year 2007. Being one of the most advanced disciplines within biology, the objectives of the department has been to provide technical skills to the students in various aspects of biotechnology. To achieve this objective the department has developed an integrated approach by incorporating contemporary syllabus in both theory and practical. Providing hands-on training with the support of technical staff is one of the main training initiatives developed for the students. To make it an effective learning process the laboratories are equipped with the latest instruments. To deliver the contents of the syllabus, the department has highly qualified faculty members.
