About TBSE

Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) is the state education board that came into the existence in the year 1976. The board conducts the examinations for secondary (class 10th) as well as higher secondary (class 12th) levels. In 1976 only the board conducts its first public examination. While in 1978 the board introduced the higher secondary examination. Therefore, since 1981 the board conducts the two major public examinations- Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) and Higher Secondary Examination (for old and vocational courses). Along with this in 2009 Tripura board introduces the Madhyamik Madarssa Education. Tripura Board is one of the boards which introduced the centralized evaluation system from the starting.
