Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the International Social Studies Olympiad (iSSO) organized by the SilverZone Foundation, students must fulfil the following criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for iSSO

  1. Grade Level: Students from classes 1 to 10 are eligible to participate in the iSSO exam.
  2. School Affiliation: The student’s school must be affiliated with any Indian-recognized board such as CBSE, ICSE, or state boards.

There are no other specific eligibility criteria for the iSSO exam. Students from the eligible classes can appear for the Olympiad corresponding to their class.

Registration Process

The iSSO registration process is as follows:

  1. The registration form for the iSSO exam is provided to students through their schools.
  2. Students must complete the registration form and pay the application fee to confirm their participation.
  3. The registration fee varies for Indian and international students:
    • For students from national schools in India, the fee is INR 125.
    • For students from schools outside India, the fee is USD 8.
  4. Schools may charge an additional Rs. 25 per student to cover expenses such as the honorarium of the instructor in charge and other administrative costs.
  5. The registration process must be completed by the last date, which is typically in August or September.
