About
Sainik School Korukonda has invite application from eligible boy candidates for admission to class VI and IX standards, through All India Sainik Entrance Exam for the academic year 2019-20. Sainik School Korukonda Admission 2019 will be done on the basis of All India Sainik Schools Entrance (AISSEE) Examination. The schedule given below is based on the information of 2018.

Examination Centres

Reservation
- 15% of seats are reserved for SC category,
- 7.5% of seats are reserved for the ST category.
- 25% of seats are reserved for Defence including Ex-servicemen.
Scholarship
Merit, income based and Defence Scholarships will be available to eligible students. The Social Welfare & Tribal Welfare Departments, Govt. of A.P. award scholarships to SC / ST boys whose parents’ income is less than Rs.65,000/- per annum under bright boys of best available schools scheme. Free education (Tuition Fees. Clothing Fees and Dietary Charges only) will be offered on Merit-cum-Means basis for A.P / Telangana domicile students from economically weaker sections of society and whose parental income is below Rs.2,000/- pm. It may be noted that all such scholarships are subject to adequate and timely release of funds from respective Governments.
Eligibility Criteria
- (A) Class VI – Age should be 10 to 12 years as on 31st March of the year in which admission is sought.
- (B) Class IX – Age should be 13 to 15 years as on 31st March of the year in which admission is sought and should be studying in class VIII in a recognized school.

How to apply
The application form is available at the school office for sale on all working days (or) may be downloaded from the school website at www.sainikschoolkorukonda.org. The downloaded application form may be duly filled and sent along with a DD drawn in favour of ‘Principal, Sainik School, Korukonda’ payable at State Bank of India, Sainik School Korukonda Branch, Code No. 2791.
Note: The Candidates should note that AISSEE 2019-20 registration will be done ONLINE. No offline registration for any school will be done this year

Result
The result of All India Sainik Schools Entrance (AISSEE) Examination has been announced. The exam was held on January 06, 2019. Candidates can check their result from the official website. The candidates who get selected will have to appear for the Medical Test and Interview.
