Sainik School East Siang (Arunachal Pradesh)an English Medium Boys Residential Public School affiliated to CBSE, prepares boys for 10+2 (Science Stream) Examination which provides residential, military based, CBSE education to the youth of the state. The primary focus of Sainik School East Siang (Arunachal Pradesh) is to prepare students academically, physically and mentally for entry into National Defence Academy (NDA). Sainik School East Siang Admission 2019 is done on the basis of performance in All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE).

Eligibility Criteria

Age

For class VI – Born between 01 Apr 2007 to 31 Mar 2009 (Both days inclusive).
For class IX – Born between 01 Apr 2004 to 31 Mar 2006 (Both days inclusive) and should be studying in class VIII in a recognized school.

Examinations will be OMR Based (Optical Mark Recognition)

The forthcoming All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination for admission of Boys in Class VI & IX to Sainik School Jhujhunu for the session 2019-2020 as per the programme is given below.

Medium of Examination for Class VI examinations will be English, Hindi. The question papers for Class VI will continue to be set in English and all the recognized official languages. But question papers for class IX will be set in English only and students are required to answer in English.

Qualifying Standard

• For the general category and the children of defence personnel, the minimum qualifying marks are 25% in each paper and 40% aggregate.
• For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes children, there is no minimum qualifying
  marks and only inter-se merit i.e. merit amongst SC/ST students against the vacancies will be considered.
• Out of qualified candidates, depending on the number of vacancies, candidates in
  order of merit will be required to appear before a Selection Board for an interview and
  before a Medical Board for Medical Examination. The interview will carry 50 marks which
  will be added to the written test marks and final merit list will be drawn.
• Only medically fit boys will be admitted strictly in order of the final merit list
  (Written Test marks plus Interview Marks)

Reservation

• 15% of the total seats are reserved for SC and 7.5% seats for ST.
• Out of the remaining seats (77%), 67% of the seats will be reserved for boys
  from the Arunachal Pradesh state. Balance 33% left over of seats will be thrown open to boys
  from other States and Union Territories in the ratio of their male
  population. Any unutilised seats in this category will be merged with home state
  seats.
• 25% seats are reserved for wards of service personnel including Ex-servicemen

Fee Structure

• For General / Defence : Rs. 400/-
• For SC / ST : Rs. 250/-

The Application form shall be available at the official website of the school. candidates interested are advised to fill the application form as per the above-given schedule. Candidates have to ensure their eligibility before filling the application form. The application form must be submitted on or before its last date.

Note: Candidates are informed that the AISSEE 2019-20 registration has been done ONLINE. This year, No offline registration for any school has been done.
