West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling (WBCROS) was formed in the year 1998. It is popularly known as WBCROS. It was formed with an aim of providing education to all the age group who are not able to acquire the formal education due to some reasons. West Bengal open board conducts Madhyamik exam twice a year. One in June and the other in December. Whereas the HS exams take place once a year.
