Parijat Academy is a non profit school. Established in 2003 with just four children in a small room with a pair of of desks and benches. From small beginnings the school grown of over 500 students. Providing free eduaction and the school is on its way towards realizing the dreams and aspiration of poor parents into reality where children are encourages to develop the positive qualities. Parijat mean name of flower. The school,Parijat Academy,is located in an area comprising of about ten tribal villages and where access to schools is very limited. Uttam Teron has been successful in starting a small scale school to imbibe the value of education among the children. Uttam sees educating the underprivileged children in the neighborhood as a first step in helping the community. He also hopes to start a weaving program for women and some vocational training activities.
