The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha was established on November 03, 1955. Its popular name is BSE Odisha. It is a state government board of school education. It came into existence under the Odisha Secondary Education Act, 1953. The parent organization of BSE Odisha is the Department of School and Mass Education, Government of Odisha. The headquarter of the board is situated in Bajrakabati Road, Cuttack. The official languages of BSE Odisha are Odia and English. The board controls maintain and manage all the necessary secondary education in the state.
The board conducts the exams for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), High School Certification Examination (HSC), Teacher’s Certificate Examinations (CT), Certificate Course in Physical Education Examination (C.P.Ed), Prathama, Madhyaman, and Middle School Scholarship / National Rural Talent Scholarship Examination (NRTS).

Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha
In accordance with the Odisha Higher Secondary Education Act 1982, the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha came into existence. From September 07, 1982, the Council administrative worked in a rented building. Since January 02, 1996, the board is working in its own building. The campus has been named Prajnapitha. The Odisha Board is well known as CHSE. There are hundreds of schools affiliated with the board. CHSE provides and prescribes the syllabus and curriculum to the affiliated schools. The board is responsible to conduct the exams and then releasing the result.

Odisha Board Class 10 and 12 Admit Card
For the students of secondary and senior secondary, the Odisha Board releases the admit card in the month of February. Candidates obtain the admit card online on the official website. To get it from bseodisha.nic.in, the candidates need to use their roll number. The students can also collect the Odisha Board Admit Card from their respective schools.
The Admit card is the most important document that needs to be carried on every exam day. The admit card contains all the important details related to the exams as well as related to the students. Students are required to carry a physical copy of admit card to the examination hall. Without admit, cards students will not be allowed to write exams.

Odisha Board Result
After the completion of the exams, the Odisha board declares the result for both classes. For class 10 board exams, the Odisha board announces the result in the month of June. For class 12, the board declares the result separately for different streams. It releases the result for Science and Commerce combined while for Arts, the separate result uses to be announced. To check the result, the candidates need to submit the roll number.
The candidates need to submit the roll number and the registration number to search for the result. The result appears in pdf format and contains the board’s name, the name of the class, subject name, respective marks, overall marks, result status, other important details.
Odisha Board Revaluation/ Rechecking Process
After the declaration of the result of the main examinations, Odisha Board also provides an option to the students for revaluation and rechecking. So, here we are. If any student wants to recalculate the marks obtained then he or she can go through the revaluation process. However, if any student wants to recheck the complete answer copy then he/ she can go for the rechecking process. By the month of June, the board receives the revaluation and rechecking applications and then by the month of August Odisha comes up with the final result.
