Meritorious School Admission Syllabus

The Meritorious School Admission syllabus for the year includes the following:

English:

The English curriculum focuses on developing reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Students will be introduced to synthetic phonics to teach each letter in isolation with its sound recognition and related vocabulary. The Oxford Reading Tree and MacMillan series are part of the English curriculum. Three novels are included in Grade III Syllabus to enhance and develop comprehension, composition, and other language skills.

Urdu:

As a national language, Urdu is also an essential part of the curriculum. The letters are introduced with sounds which gradually help students to build words and later reading.

Mathematics:

The mathematics program includes the SPMG and Primary Mathematics programs to provide maximum practice and understand concepts with various examples and solutions. Math Quiz is a regular feature to develop interest in the subject.

Science:

Simple experiments and visual display are a regular feature to develop logic and scientific reasoning. PowerPoint presentations and related videos are used frequently to give maximum exposure.

Thematic Program:

A numerous variety of different cultural and social topics have been introduced in our thematic program which also provides a platform to the students to perform on stage.

Reading:

Reading is the key to success. For language development, MacMillan series and Oxford Reading Tree are a part of English curriculum, simultaneously three novels are included in Grade III Syllabus to enhance and develop comprehension, composition and other language skills.

The test paper is not shown to anyone and only marks are communicated to the parents/ guardians. The list displaying names of selected candidates will be put up on the notice board of the concerned branch on the date given by the school. In all cases, merit is the sole criterion for admission. The decision of the school cannot be challenged in any way and will be final.
