The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has started the Maharashtra First Year Junior College (FYJC) Common Entrance Test (CET) exam process.

The online admission process for std XI, in the defined six online admission areas Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad districts, Pune and Pimpari-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation areas alongwith Nagpur, Amravati, Nashik and Aurangabad Municipal Corporations is applicable to all recognized Junior Colleges affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board and it is mandatory for all to participate in the online admission process, as all admissions will be done through online process only.

Maharashtra FYJC CET How to Apply

  1. Visit the official website of Maharashtra FYJC CET cet-mh-ssc.ac.in.
  2. Select ‘Board Type’ from the drop down menu.
  3. Fill all the details required to register such as name, contact number, date of birth, address, and medium of instruction.
  4. Then select details of examination centre by selecting district and taluka.
  5. Upload photo, signature, ID proof and handicap proof if any.
  6. Complete all other formalities and click on submit.
  7. Take a print of submitted Maharashtra FYJC CET application form any future reference.

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on August 21, 2021 with proper COVID 19 protocol across the state. The entrance test is to ensure uniformity & comparability in FYJC admissions and to ensure fair play for students across all boards. The exam would be held from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm and is completely optional for the students.

Maharashtra FYJC CET: Exam Pattern

  1. The Common Entrance Examination for Class 11 will be based on the 10th syllabus of the State Board.
  2. There will be a single question paper of 100 marks for this examination and the duration of the examination will be two hours.
  3. The question papers of this examination will be available through eight mediums.
  4. This common entrance exam will be of offline format and the question paper will carry Multiple Choice Objective type Questions.
