D.L.W. Inter College is a Railway school governed by Ministry of Railway, Govt. of India. This school imparts education to the son and daughters of Railway employees as well as to the wards of retired railway employees. It consists of classes I to XII. At secondary level it provides the education of Science, Humanities and Commerce stream..Under the affiliation of U.P Board the foundation of this school was laid down in July 1965, running the classes up to junior (class VIII) standard having 157 students in class VI to VIII. With 7 teachers Mr. R.L Gupta was the first Principal. In 1968 the school was upgraded up to 10th standard and the first batch of High School students passed the exam with 100% result. Further in the year 1978 the school was upgraded up to 12th standard in arts group and in 1980 in science group. The first batch of Intermediate students passed in 1980 in Arts stream and in 1982 in science stream. In 2010 the school was switched over to CBSE.
