Preparation Tips for Examination

Every year, the competition increase with an increase in the number of candidates. Due to the increased competition, the students are more worried about how to score good marks and do better than others. In order to score well, the candidates need to prepare their best for the examination. Here, we have discussed some of the preparation tips which the candidate can follow to prepare well.

Create A Study Guide- Before starting preparing for exams, make a study plan for your self. The students should make a study schedule keeping in mind the hours they can study in a day and the number of subjects they have. However, equal time should be provided to each subject in a day.

Speak Out loud- Start reading loudly rather than studying it silently. The studies show that you are more likely to remember 50% more by speaking loudly rather than reading silently. This will also help you remember things that you have studied.

Look at Documentaries or Powerpoint- Key points and bullets are found to be an easy way of studying for the exam. The focus keywords help you remember everything easily rather than long big paragraphs written in the book. The students can watch documentaries and powerpoint presentations online to understand the topic better.

Teach What You Have Learned- Make it a habit to teach what you have learned in a day to someone. However, you can make any family member or friend sit in front of you and tell them every detail related to each topic you have studied in a day.

Regular Study Breaks- Studying continuously for 5-6 hours makes it boring. The candidates should make it a habit of taking short breaks during studying to keep the mind motivated and focused.

Sample Papers and Question Paper- Once you are done with your whole syllabus, start practising as many sample papers as you can. this will help you know where you need to work in future. Not only this but also start solving previous year question papers. This will help you know the types of questions that come in the exam.

Sleep and Wake Up early- The students should try avoiding late night studies. Late night studies usually make your brain tired and you don’t even remember much the next day. However, plan your schedule in such a way that you get up early and study with a fresh mind.
