In 1986 AD, Roy and Jenny Ramble obeyed God's call to work amongst rural communities, and left Lucknow to live in Rupaidiha, a tiny village on the India-Nepal border. Here they were faced with several challenges. It took them a while to build a rapport with the conservative village folk, who looked askance at the young couple and treated them with suspicion. But that did not stop the Rambles and in the space of a couple of years, they felt God's calling them to start a school for the village children.
