Army Public School Dighi was set up as a Balak Mandir of the Bombay Sappers in 1980. In the year 1997, The Bombay Sappers Public School upto Primary Level was established with a view to provide quality education to the children of personnel of armed forces living in Dighi, Kalas, Ganesh Nagar, Vishrantwadi and GREF Centre area.To meet the growing educational aspirations of Army Children in the station the school was converted to Army School in Apr 2009. At present the school is under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society, Delhi Cantt.
