HPBOSE 12th Result 2024 has been announced by Himachal Pradesh Board Of School Education (HPBOSE). 

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is responsible for conducting the board exams for Class 10th and 12th students in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The board declares the results of these exams on its official website, hpbose.org.

How to Check HPBOSE 12th Result?

To access the results, students need to follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website, hpbose.org.
2. Click on the HPBOSE Result 2024 12th link.
3. Enter your HPBOSE 12th Result 2024 Roll Number.
4. The class 12th results will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download and take a printout of the online marksheet for future reference.

The overall pass percentage is 73.76%. A total of 85,777 students appeared for the exam, and 63,092 students passed. 13,276 students have been placed in the compartment category.

The toppers in each stream are:

• Science: Kamakshi Sharma and Chhaya Chauhan with 98.80% each
• Commerce: Shavya with 98%
• Arts: Arshita with 98%

Students who could not appear for the exam due to snowfall will be able to appear for re-tests from May 3 to May 8, 2024.

HPBOSE 12th Result for Supplementary Exams

• Students who failed in a subject or more in HP board 12th result will be able to appear for supplementary exams.
• The board will give students this last chance to clear class 12 without wasting a year of academic study.
•  Compartment exams applications are accepted through respective schools in online mode in June.
• Submit the required documents and required fee to their school authority.
• HP Board 12th date sheet for supplementary exams will be published in June.
• The Himachal Pradesh board will conduct the compartment/supplementary exams in August as per HPBOSE 12TH Datesheet.
•   HP Board 12th Result for compartment exams will be released in July.
•  Students can access supplementary results online in the same manner as the annual HPBOSE 12th result.

About Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE)

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is also known as HPBOSE is an agency of the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The HP Board of School Education was founded in the year 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act No. 14 of 1968 with its headquarters at Shimla, but later it was shifted to Dharamshala in January 1983.  At present, over 8000 schools are affiliated with the Board. The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education sets up 1650 examination centers for over 500,000 examinees every year. Himachal Board of School Education is also responsible for conducting the board exams for Classes 10 and 12.

HP Board conducts examinations for the following classes and courses: 10th, 10+2, J.B.T and T.T.C. As many as 5 Lakh candidates annually appear in the examination conducted by the Board. The board has its jurisdiction from elementary level to senior secondary level and also provides textbooks for all classes from Class 1 to Class 12. In addition to these, the board has set up 26 book distribution/information centres across the state to better equip students by catering to their needs.
