Mody College of Engineering & Technology (MCET)- an exclusively Girls' Technical Education Centre of Excellence- aims at producing Engineering graduates of very high calibre, capable of making their professional debut in the first decade of the 21st century. Looking at the newly developing career oriented approach of the girls and their parents, MCET offers high profile training and placement programmes to the students of our engineering courses. After gaining a strong foothold in the field of school and college education, the Management of the institute decided to expand its canvas of activities to include the technical education for girls. Besides offering excellent infrastructural facilities,competent, trained and motivated faculty and proper interaction with the industry, MCET is designed to produce first degree women Engineers of high quality, who will be able to meet the needs of the Indian industry in the field of electronics, communication, networking and software development.
Admissions are made through Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) conducted each year. The seats remaining vacant are filled on an all India basis. The students who are not less than 17 years or more than 23 years as on 1st October in the year of admission & have passed in one and the same attempt with minimum 50% marks in English and 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together at ICSE/CBSE/Senior Secondary or equivalent to 10+2 examination after 12 years of study from any Board/University recognized by Rajasthan University, are eligible to register themselves for admission in 1st year of Bachelor of Engineering degree courses. A total of 120 seats i.e. 60 seats in each course are available. Of these, 5% seats are reserved for NRI’s.
