Government Bangur College, Didwana, an academic institute accredited B+ by the NAAC-UGC is situated in Nagaur District of Rajasthan, India. Didwana town lies on the coordinates 74˚30’ E and 23˚45’ N on the survey of India topo sheet No. 45 I. Didwana is about 180 km west of Jaipur the pink city and capital of Rajasthan. It is 230 km East of Jodhpur. The famous salt lake – The Didwana salt lake is situated here.
Established in 1951 as intermediate college by Government of Rajasthan to cater to the needs of rural and urban students the college has magnified in to a prime co-educational institution of this Marwar area of the State. From 1958 onwards graduation level teaching is started in this college. Drawing patronage and blessings of renowned Bangur business family native of Didwana this college flourished and presently postgraduate teaching in Arts, Science and Commerce faculties are going on in this college. Generous contributions from Bangur family a prime industrial house of Rajasthan helped in enriching the buildings, laboratories, library and playgrounds etc. of this college significantly.
