The curriculum mainly focuses on instilling a thorough understanding and knowledge of all the basic medical sciences along with the dental subjects so that the students may take scientifically and clinically sound decisions concerning the oral health status of the patient and any bearing it might have done on the systemic health.

The college is situated on N.H.08, very well linked to Jaipur City Center with excellent road, train & air connectivity. The institution has a par excellence trained faculty base that constantly endeavour to groom a student into a skillful, mature and responsible dental professional.
It has an extensive library with print & online resources, archives of various National & International journals of acclaim with a separate reading room for students for self study.

The BDS course offered by Rajasthan Dental College & Hospital commenced in September 2003 where as MDS course started in June 2011. It is housed in a self-contained four-storey building, having a built-up area of 154,000 sq. ft., and is one of the premier dental college in Rajasthan. The building includes pre-clinical dental laboratories, lecture halls, a conference centre, faculty offices, administrative offices, clinical

treatment areas, small group discussion areas, and a well stocked library. Sufficient area has been earmarked for future expansion and also to commence post-graduate programmes as well as to carry out research activities.Hundred (100) students are admitted to the BDS course in the College every year. The duration of the course is 5 years including 1 year compulsary rotating internship. The curriculum is in accordance with the Dental Council of India regulations.

An integrated approach combining extensive clinical practice with rigorous course work promotes a better understanding of dentistry and its relationship to overall health. High quality training facilities are available in Craniofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery apart from regular classes in all specialities in dentistry such as Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Periodontics & Implantology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Pathology & Microbiology, and Community Dentistry. The students are exposed to maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation carried out in the Department of Prosthodontics. A great deal of emphasis is placed on community-oriented dental outreach programmes. Rajasthan dental college & hospital extends the knowledge of oral health by encouraging and assisting faculty in the pursuit of innovative research. The College also stimulates and encourages the qualities of ethics, human values, and character that mark the true oral health professional.

The students of Rajasthan Dental college & hospital become adept at attending to the special needs of patients who have complex medical histories and may already be receiving treatment for a number of diseases at renowned Hospitals.
