Tagore College Taranagar has proved this prophetic statement with conviction by emerging as one of the premier institution of higher learning education in the Rajasthan. The need for quality education has been felt for a long time and a gap exists in the field of purposeful and relevant education that takes into account the ground realities by the professionals in the different fields. Realizing the importance of education Tagore Education Group decided to setup an higher educational institution at Taranagar in the year 2006 managed by Tagore Group, Taranagar with an objective to provide education at college level.

Although, this Shiksha Samiti is presently running play school to graduate College alongwith professional courses. The college has a long-standing academic tradition of excellence in higher education. This is coupled with the most advanced facilities for the pursuit of higher learning.

Tagore Education Group inspired from the learnings of Guru Rabindranath Tagore, was established in the year 1995 by Mr. Balveer Singh. In 2006, Realizing the importance of education Tagore Education Group decided to setup an higher educational institution for Advanced Learning. The Tagore College is affiliated to Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner for offering Graduate Courses in Science and Arts.

Located in the Taranagar (Churu), which is a blend of traditional history and modern outlook, Tagore's is putting in efforts for making industry ready IAS, ICS and Scientist through effective Industry–Institute Interface. Apart from University curriculum Tagore's also pursues activities for research and development in various fields.

Students joining the institute share the box full of opportunities for professional and personal development through an environment of practical orientation, industrial interaction and student led activities which help the students to develop good communication skills, integrated personality and greater competitive spirit.

It has a magnificent building and adequate space for both indoor and outdoor games. The college offers Arts, Science. A variety of facilities for the promotion of education and positive orientation of students is offered. N.S.S camps, Blood donation camp, educational tours, workshops and seminars on Personality development are organized.
