SESOMU GIRLS COLLEGE with its majestic buildings overlooking National Highway - 11(W) in Sri Dungargarh has already become a landmark in the north-western part of Rajasthan. Starting in July 2008 as an English and Hindi medium, college offering MGSU, Bikaner curriculum up to class B.A.-I and B.Com.-I, it has been progressively raised to start classes B.A.-II and B.Com. in 2009-10, B.A.-III and B.com.-III in 20010-11. Session 2010-11 saw the start of hostel for girls, incorporating excellent boarding and vegetarian mess facility. The college is now affiliated to MGSU up to UG standard with a modest strength. Four more college buses have since been added. The college has made a difference to the landscape and to lives of the people of Sri Dungargarh by providing quality education to the children. The fact is amply proved by the 100% results at the MGSU examinations year after year with 90% of them getting First Division or better.
