Course Information & Syllabus
Course Information :
Microbiology is at the forefront of a technical revolution. We are now using genetic engineering techniques, to direct the protein synthesis of certain microorganisms, and we stand upon the threshold of using genetic engineering techniques in the medical treatment of mankind. This course will emphasize on science of microbiology through consideration
of the diversity of structure, function, methods of genetic transfer and replication of DNA among bacteria and fungi,
stressing the importance of micro-organisms in industry, medicine, agriculture and science where appropriate.
