Coursework & Assessment :

All the units would be assessed though written exams at the end of the semester and the practical experience gained by the student would be assessed during the sessionals to be examined by an external examiner. Students are also expected to appear for a viva-voce based on both the theory and practical syllabus. The students, for obtaining the degree, are required to submit a comprehensive 10,000 word report and present a seminar detailing the training work.

A biochemistry postgraduation will form a passport into areas such as proteomics, drug manufacture and design, bioinformatics, medicine and health, forensics, agriculture and related industries and the research industry.
