Master of Arts (MA Visual Research)

Course Information :

This program would emphasize research methodologies, accessing and understanding of copy rights and rights infringement. The candidates would experience and work on various forms of visual art from photography, paintings, sculpture to the motion media.

Year 1 :

Understanding Art Visual Aesthetics Photography Basics to Social Science Research Introduction to Computer Applications Drawing Techniques and Approaches

Year 2 :

Digital Imaging Digital Research (Web, CD) Analog Research (Library systems) Professional Studies Research Methodologies (Scientific & Social Science) Disseratation + 2 Seminars

Coursework & Assessment :

The course is assessed using variety of novel methods, including assignments, portfolio submissions and case study analysis. A formative system of assessment ensures that all the practical assignments, group discussions, presentation seminars, year-end exams and written assignments in each subject are graded through out the year. The formal written and practical assessment is done at the end of each semester.
