SMDRSD College Society, Pathankot started the College of Education in the year 1998 and the foundation stone was laid down by revered Late Ch. Balwant Singh Ji, who had a vision to start this college for the benefit of the people who could not afford higher education outside the town, The College has proved itself a pioneer institution of its kind as its the first institute of the region to start B.Ed and E.T.T courses. This college has the honour to be recognized by NCTE and affiliation with GNDU, Amritsar.
