Adesh Institute is committed to developing industry driven academic programs and providing the best training in fields for raising the comfort level of engineers to match the needs of Industries/Organisations in this country Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology(AIET), Faridkot was established in 1996 with aim of providing high quality education in Engineering and Technology with a close interaction with industry. This institute has grown steadily in size and activities during the last decade of its existence. Over 1500 engineers who have graduated from AIET are well placed in renowned industries. It is a self-supporting, self-financed and privately managed institute, developed on a 30-acre piece of land. AIET is situated on the main Faridkot-Sadiq Road and is 12 km from Railway station/ city Bus-stand. Academic knowledge is imparted by eminent teachers exposing the students to current industrial aspects through Industry-Institute interaction at appropriate levels.

Institute offers B.Tech.(4 year full time courses) in Electronics & Communication Engg.(120 seats), Computer Science Engineering (120 seats), Electrical Engineering (30 seats), Information Technology (60 seats) , Civil Enginerring (60 seats) and B.Tech. in Bio-Medical Engg. (with 30 seats). It also offers B.Sc. (3 year course) in Bio- Technology(60 seats).
During 2008-09, three new P.G. Courses in M-Tech ECE (18 Seats), M-Tech EE (18 Seats) and M.B.A. (60 Seats) were introduced. During 2009-10, two additional M.Tech courses in CSE (18 Seats) and IT (18 Seats) have been apperoved by the AICTE, New Delhi and Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar.Adesh Institute of Engineering & Technology ( AIET) conceived by the Adesh Foundation has emerged as one of the best engineering colleges in the state of Punjab. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Govt. of Punjab. Affiliation has been granted by Punjab Technical University, Jallandhar. Admissions are made centrally through Punjab Technical University, Jallandhar based on merit in the COMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET) for entrance in engineering colleges in Punjab. The institute is developed in a vast green campus area of around 60 acres of land having own water works & uninterrupted independent power feeder for 24 hrs. supply. The computer centre is the largest in the state of Punjab and well equipped with 150 computer terminals with latest configurations in an area of 7,000 sq. ft. The central library is developed in a 7,500 sq. ft. area with all kind of books & technical national & international journals. Ultra modern state-of-art lecture theatres with latest teaching aids, laboratories and workshops have been developed as per norms of AICTE. Separate hostel complexes for boys’ & girls’ with all modern amenities, faculty residences, principals’ residences are within the campus. Facilities for indoor games, out door sports complexes and Open Air Theatre are unique. ATM facility has been installed in the campus. Multi Gym, Cricket, Hockey, Football, Volleyball & Basketball grounds are developed in the campus. The auditorium with a capacity of 900 seats and a hi-tech swimming pool are in process of development. A communication and presentation lab. for improvement of personalities of students is functioning to empower them with superior communication skills and to furnish with a plethora of judicious decision-making. What is most important is the faculties drawn from top institutions of country are continuously striving to impart experience-based quality education and a placement cell to support students in getting national and international employments and higher technical education.
AIET Faridkot is affiliated to Punjab Technical University(PTU), Jalandhar. It is recognized by the Govt. of Punjab and all courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi.
