Vinayaka Mission’s College of Nursing, Karaikal, was established in the year 2004 and is a constituent college of Vinayaka Missions University, Salem. It is situated in Keezhakasakudimedu, Karaikal. The bed strength of the parent hospital is 750.The institute was accorded UGC permission on 10th November, 2004 to start B.Sc (Nursing). The UGC committee visited the institute again on 30th November, 2009 for reviewing the status.

Vinayaka Mission’s College of Nursing is located in the city of Karaikal It is approximately 5 km from the city bus stand, 10 km from the Nagore junction Railway Station. It is also 10 km from the temple city “Thirunallar”. There are many places of importance within 60km of Karaikal town including the famous Navagragha temples.

Kumbakonam, Tanjavour and Mailadudurai are some of the well known cities in the neighbourhood of Karaikal and the town is well connected by road to these places.
