The boom in the media industry has invited the attention of everyone related to the print media. The sudden and unprecedented expansion of the audio and audio-visual media has put the broadcast media industry on a new scenario. This is not different even in the North-East of India. The past three years has seen the entry of several private television news and entertainment channels as well as FM Radio channels. This has given rise to a growing demand for trained professionals to run these organizations. Institutions offering training in the broadcast field are very few.
