Basudev Godabari Degree College ,Kesaibahal previously known as Devisweta Padma Degree College had its humble beginning at Kesaibahal in the session 1997-98 realise the dream of the people of this locality by imparting higher education of high standard .Thereafter the institution is not looking back, touching the milestones of success with the best wishes and cooperation of the people of locality .

The College has been affiliated to Sambalpur University, Jyoti Vihar Burla, a premier University of Western Odisha. Curriculum and Syllabus followed is CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) as per the guidelines of UGC. CBCS Semester system always keeps students busy, active and energetic through the year. Academic Calendar prepared by Department of Higher Education Odisha is being implemented.
