Welcome to Sri Jayadev College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SJCPS) on the Web! The goal of this Graduate and Post-graduate college is to train Pharmaceutical Scientist as leading Scholar in Pharmaceutical Industries and herbal drug research and formulation relevant to human diseases.

Our Graduate and Post-graduate program is both distinct and distinctive. Our curriculum is unique in leading students to explore fundamental concepts in pharmacy and its related subjects like pharmaceutics, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, biochemistry and pharmacognosy. Our educational mission is focused entirely on the effective training of our graduate & post-graduate students. We encourage applications from students with a sincere motivation for doing graduate and post-graduate as well as research work relevant to human health.

The institute was established in 1983 in the memory of great Odisha born saint poet of “The Gitegovindam” and staunch devotee of lord Jagannath, “Sri Jayadev”, SJCPS is situated in the Temple City of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, amidist a picturesque setting laced with lot of greenery and away from the hustle & bustle of the city on the bank of river Kuakhai, providing an ideal atmosphere for study. The college is about 8 kms away form Railway Station & 1.8 kms from the bus stop, Hansapal on the National Highway No-5.

SJCPS being among the oldest institution in Odisha providing Diploma, Degree & P.G courses in Pharmacy, has relentlessly worked since its inception to achieve the much felt need for trained Pharmacists and designed professionals to feed the pharmacy profession in various discipline including production., quality control & quality assurance, Research & Development, production Management Team & Marketing in pharma industrial sector, Drug Regulatory affairs, academics, etc. Dynamism, strong human values, techno critiques & good leadership qualities attached to the SJCPS graduates has created its own impact in different spheres of profession.
