      About Mahima Mahavidyalaya, Dhenkanal

      Thus the college with the name Mahima Mahavidyalaya Started on Augest 01, 1978. The college got govt. recognition and university affiliation in 1979-80. In 19986, +3 classes ware opened with full grant in aid from 1st June, 1988. The strength of the students which was 49 in 1978 has grown up to 850 in 2006. Being situated in the midst of natural suroundings specially in the midst of sal forest and hills the college bears a spritual base which has a great impact in building the characters of the students.

      The Jatia Baba Library Mahima Mahavidyalaya, Jaranda contains columes arranged into different sections. The members of the staff and the students of the college may use the library.

      Library rules :
      The library remains open during the working hours of the college. The library remains closed on Sundays and authorized holidays during annual stock verification. The library opens at 10:am, Issue and return start at 11:am,Closing time for return of books is 12 noon and closing time for issue of books is 2Lpm. All administrative works, rearrangement of books and shelves, preparation for the next day is after 3:300 pm. A person even if otherwise qualified for admission intio the library shall not be admitted into library premises if she/he is not of sound mind or is not clean in person or dress.
      Sports facilities are available in the campus. Annual Sports event is held in the month of December in every year
      Good transportation facilities for its students, staff members and visiting guests.
      Proper healthcare arrangements are done by college. Proper Medical Facilities are available
