      KIIT School of Fashion Technology (KSFT) under KIIT Universiy came into the limelight in 2009 to create professionals in fashion design and textile design to cater the needs of Industry. The course offered by School is 4 years degree course leading to award of B.Des, as per UGC guidelines.

"Fashion" refers to a distinctive; often-habitual trend in a look and dress up of a person, as well as to prevailing styles in behavior. Fashion design, textile design, as well as fashion technology are the part and parcel of Fashion Industry. Fashion design is the art of application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories.
