The Institution is committed to its social commitment of bringing down higher education to the grass root level and imparting higher education to the poor rural students., Bant Anchlika College, Bant Lat.-21.11-E & Lon.-86.31-N in the district of Bhadrak of Odisha, was established on 21st August 1980 as a co-education institution, with a dream to facilitate higher education to the children of common rural people of the locality by the initiative of the local educationists and founder members. In 1980, the sapling which was planted with 32 students in 1st year I.A. class getting affiliation from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, has now become a more than 37 years old tree with strength of above 1000 students of its roll in both Arts and Science at +2 stage & Arts at the Under Graduate stage affiliated to CHSE, Odisha and Fakir Mohan University, Balasore respectively. The institution stepped forward to under graduate level in the Academic Year 1988-89 and the Institution got affiliation from UGC, Mission, This Institution has ambtion to facilitate higher education to the children of common rural people of the locality and to materlise the dream of the local educationists and founder members of this August Institution., Vision, The Institituion has a clear cut vision to actualize the dreams of thousands of unprivileged children of rural poor for becoming privileged and the elite ones in the world of Higher Education and turning the students into enlightened citizens to realize their self and eagerness to contribute their bit in nation building.
