Dr. Balaji Vejju, an alumnus of the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, has joined as an Assistant Professor in Department of Economics, School of Liberal Arts and Social Science at SRM University AP. Before this, he worked for National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (ni-msme) Hyderabad, SSIM, Hyderabad and Presidency University, Bengaluru.
Dr. Balaji Vejju completed his Ph.D in February 2021 from the School of Economics under the guidance of Prof. Gummadi Sridevi. His Ph.D work was to study the “Role of Microenterprises on Women Empowerment and Poverty Alleviation: A case study of Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh”. He obtained Integrated Master’s Degree in Economics from School of Economics in 2011. He has published good number of research papers in Scopus and ABDC indexed journals and presented various papers in national and international conferences.
