The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the registration window for the revaluation of Class 12th answer sheets today, June 7, 2024. Students dissatisfied with their marks in the Class 12th Board results must register for revaluation by 11:59 PM today on the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in.

“Although CBSE has taken numerous steps in assessment and result preparation, students still not satisfied with their evaluation can avail of the facilities for verification of marks, obtaining a photocopy of their evaluated answer books, and re-evaluation of their answers,” stated the CBSE board while announcing the revaluation schedule.

Time-Sensitive Revaluation Process

Students must note that these activities are strictly time-bound and can only be completed online. Therefore, prompt action is required to meet the deadline.

CBSE Class 12th Board Results 2024: Revaluation Fee

Candidates need to pay ₹100 per question to use the revaluation service for their answer sheets. This fee is mandatory to proceed with the revaluation process.

Steps to Apply for Revaluation of Answer Sheets

  1. Visit the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in.
  2. Under the ‘Examinations’ section, click on ‘Apply for re-evaluated answer books’.
  3. Enter your roll number, date of birth, five-digit school number, and center number.
  4. Submit your request for the subjects you wish to verify.
  5. Follow the instructions and adhere to the guidelines provided in the form.
  6. Complete your registration by paying the necessary fee.
  7. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

Students should be aware that a decrease in scores, even by a single mark, will impact their results. In case of score changes, students will need to surrender their original mark sheets and will be issued new ones.

CBSE Class 12th Results 2024: Overview

According to CBSE data, out of the 16,21,224 students who appeared for the board exams, 14,26,420 students passed. The overall pass percentage for Class 12 students is 87.98%. Additionally, 1,22,170 students have been placed in the compartment category.
