Mizoram College of Nursing MCON was established in 1980. Initially it has capacity of 20 students for General Nursing & Midwifery course under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Mizoram and thus became a pioneer in this field. For nearly 40 years, this institution has served the people and the Government.well by producing excellent and dedicated nurses. Our students have gone on to serve the people of our country well and some have gone beyond that by working abroad in modern hospitals all across the globe. . The institution was upgraded to College of Nursing on 11th Oct.2005 to conduct Bachelor of Science in Nursing which is a 4 year course. It is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and affiliated to the Mizoram University.

Mizoram College of Nursing is located in Aizawl, Mizoram and it is affiliated to Indian Nursing Council. The college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council INC, Delhi and it is affiliated to Indian Nursing Council. The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as Library, Laboratories, Cafeteria, Modern equipments and Computing facility. Mizoram College of Nursing has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty. The college offers undergraduate course in B Sc Nursing.
