Selection Process
- MIT-WPU is looking for bright and dedicated scholars interested in research to join us as Ph.D. scholars for Academic Year 2020-21. Prospective students satisfying the eligibility criterion are encouraged to apply for Ph.D. Programme on www.mitwpu.edu.in
- Candidates satisfying eligibility criteria will be informed to appear for the Ph.D. entrance test conducted by MIT-WPU as per the UGC guidelines. University may decide separate terms and conditions for Ph.D. entrance test for those students who qualify UGC-NET ( Including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET ( including JRF)/SLET/GATE/Teacher fellowship holder or have passed M. Phil programme.
- The Ph.D. entrance test shall be qualifying with qualifying marks as 50% provided that relaxation from 50% to 45% shall be allowed for the candidates belongs to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/Differently abled category in the entrance examination conducted by the university
- The interview/viva-voce will be conducted by the university for test qualifying candidates. For the selection of candidates, a weightage of 70% to the entrance test and 30 % to the performance in the interview/Viva-voce shall be given
