Master of Technology (MTech Computer & Communication Engineering)

Master of Technology in Computer and Communication Engineering (M.Tech.Computer and Communication Engineering), is a two years postgraduate computer engineering degree course in India. The course is designed to provide basic and in-depth knowledge and skills about the work of computer and related technologies on the social context in which the technologies are used or misused. The aim of the discipline is to emphasize the interface between the computer science, information practices and to deal with the social issues related to the unprecedented expansion of information technology, security, piracy and digital identity, etc. The course is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of Computer and Communication Engineering.The course is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and information about the Telecommunication, The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and Principles Techniques in an academic discipline such as Applied Mathematics, Modern Digital Communication Techniques, Advanced Digital Signal Processing, System Programming and Operating System, Optical Fiber Communication, Computer Architecture, and Parallel Processing, High-performance Computer Network, Internet Concept and Programming, Cellular Mobile Communication, Operating System Design, Communication Network Security, Software Engineering Methodology, Data Base Technology.

Eligibility

The candidate has to complete Bachelor’s Degree like Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communication, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or any other Bachelor’s Degree with relevant subjects, or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 60% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master of Technology in Computer and Communication Engineering Studies program. In India, it is mandatory to give entrance exams like Common Admission Test (CAT), some institute take the personal interview and asked few questions on General Knowledge, Personality, Intelligence Assessment and English Language.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

The master’s study requires 2 years of the time period with an internship in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course. The course is not available for part-time and under distance education mode as it's a practical based study.
