The SSSPM established College of Nursing at Barshi in the year 2005 with the view of imparting Nursing Education to 50 male & female students every year. It is the only institution in Osmanabad, Beed and Solapur Districts particulary in rural area imparting nursing education. The college is approved by the Maharashtra & Indian Nursing Council. It is affiliated to the Maharashtra university of Health Sciences, Nashik.

The college is situated in 54 acre campus of our Mandal, particularly in K.I.I.T premises. This campus is spacious and fully equipped with all the modern amenties including laboratories, lecture halls , auditorium and office as per the Indian Nursing Council Norms. All types of Audio-Visual Aids including P.A System. T.V, CD cassettes and other equipments are available. The college will also have indoor and outdoor spaces facilities in the campus. Under continued and persistence efforts of Dr.B.Y.Yadav, Dr.Gulabrao Patil, Dr.S.C.Mane, Prof.S.K.More, office bears of Mandal, Prin.Smt.Surekha Dangare, College of Nursing has come up in short period to cater the health needs of the population of rural area through the graduate nurses.
