The admission for (Ayurvedacharya) B.A.M.S course is through C.E.T. We are having we equipped hospital“ Dr. M. N. Agashe Charitable Hospital and Maternity Home” at the heart of the city. You can have clinical training here. Students are posted for Hospital duties. We are providing clinical training from second year and you are made familiar with hospital working, patients, and staff etc.from the first year. We are having facility of Ayurvedic medicinal plants garden in the premises of our college. We are providing excellent training to the students by arranging guest lectures. An annual function of “ Prize Distribution “ comprises extracurricular activities viz. Competitions, games, Dramas. We are preparing you as a good doctor with full-bloomed personality, In order to achieve these objects, Ayurved Prasarak Mandali established an educational institution Seth Chandanmal Mutha Aryangla Vaidyak Mahavidyalaya at Gendamal, Satara., The founder members of the college are Late Dr. R. V. Phansalkar, Dr. V. S. Kelkar, Dr. V. B. Bhide, Vyakranbhusan Nrusinhacharya Gajendragadkar, Vd. Tryambakshastri N. Joshi, Shri S. V. Joshi & Dr. S. R. GokhaleFounded as “Maharashtriya Aryangla Vaidyak Shala.” An d now a day it is known as Seth Chandanmal Mutha Aryangla Vaidyak Mahavidyalaya. Ayurved Prasarak Mandali was established at the same time and it took over the charge of this college. It is the first institute / college in India that opened for integrated education of Ayurveda & Allopathy., The institution is situated outside the city but adjacent to the city area on old Satara –Pune highway. A temple Ram-Dhyana Mandir is opposite to the college building & the college building is having their own herbal garden covering the three sides of it. It provides green canvas for the college building .It is a two storey building & is a fine example of Architecture with stony elevations. At the entrance hall there is a beautiful statue of lord Dhanvantari.The students use to start their daily college class work by praying lord Dhanvantari., The class rooms are well ventilated and having good natural light. Each classroom is having capacity of 100 students. Every classroom is having facility of overhead projector, slide projector, L.C.D.projector, T.V. D.V.D. player. Each classroom is having spacious Varanda., A tidy & clean hall is provided for Gents & lady students having facility of W.C & Toilets. A separate arrangement for pure drinking water is made with Aqua Guard & Water Cooler., Every Dept. is having separate laboratory, museum & room for H.O.D. Necessary charts & models are made available at each Dept. A specious airy & good-lighted Dissection Hall is situated at 2nd floor. Separate labs. for Sharir Kriya, Rasashashtra, Bhaishajya Kalpana, Dravya Guna. A well equipped laboratory of Research Methods for P.G.students is an unique example of its type ., The college is having a separate office for Principal & Vice Principal .The administration work is carried out at its separate college office.
