The Vidya Vaibhav Shikshan Mandal, Bhandup Mumbai is an institution established in the year 1984. The institute within a short span of time becomes renowned in the state of Maharastra. We are very proud to say that the institute is very short span of time done tremendous work for the society and particulary economically backward class people in the field of education, Social, Health & Sanitation.

The institute while doing this has started a school “Shivaji Vidyamandir Bhandup” for the childrenstaying in hutment’s at Bhandup. The institute has its own building of six storied well furnished. The institute is giving wide exposure to the students in view of social & cultural activities through various programme& performance on the Doordarshan through National Network. The annual result of our institute is always beyond 90% at the state level examination.

The institute never looked back since its establishment. The Board of Director of the sanstha well aware of the fact that even today, there are no competent Doctor available in many remote villages of konkan area of Maharashhtra State and the poor people from these village can not afford the medical factilities available in big cities like Mumbai & Pune because of their economical backwardness.

Considering all these factors the “Vidya Vaibhav Shikshan Mandal” decided to start a Medical College in rural area like DapoliTahasil in medically backward area. We are very much greatful to the Hon. Ex. Chief Minister Shri. Sharad raoji Pawarfor giving us permission to start this Dapoli homeopathic Medical College.We are highly obliged and greatful to him.

Dapoli Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital was established in the year 1988 -89 and is situated on a 50 acre land in a remote village at Apti, Post. Talsure of Dapoli Taluka in the Dist. of Ratnagiri in Maharashtra State.

It is situated in a hilly area at a distance of 6 km. from Dapoli city in the Konkan region on the west coast of Maharashtra with lush green surrounding in the Sahyadri ranges.

The connectivity to Dapoli by road from Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur is about 200 to 250 Kmsand the nearest Railway station on Konkan railway track is Khed station situated at distance of 25 Kms from the college.

Vision and Mision
Our honorable chairman Dr. Chandrakant Mokal embarked in the Konkan region in the year 1970 to serve the needy down trodden needy poor patient in this remote area of Dapoli Taluka. Where the medical facilities were very poor and road connectivity was not good.

After having seen the poor health status of the people in this area the decided to spend his life in the service of humanity in the health sector in this area.

During the course of his private practice he realized the need for good educational facility in the area for the people and growing children. and he developed a vision for himself to improve this poor pathetic condition of people living of this Taluka.

Having been very close to people he realized the need education institute. He was granted permission by the government of the Maharashtra to start a Medical College and Hospital in this rural area this institute has given benefit to the young generation due to which in short span of 20 years more than 800 doctors have passed out from this homoeopathic medical college and are doing great service to humanity in Konkan area and rest of Maharashtra in the year 1988-89.
