Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College & General Hospital is located at Ambegaon, Narhe, Pune. It is founded by President Prof. M. N. Navale and named after the mother of Prof. M. N. Navale. The medical college is started with intake of 100 students for MBBS course in September 2007. The intake capacity now has been increased to 150 students. Our MBBS degree is recognized by Medical Council of India and also by Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Government of India –New Delhi. The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik., We also conduct Post Graduate courses in the Subjects of Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Community Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Anesthesia, Radiology, Dermatology, Pulmonary Medicine, General Medicine and Pediatrics. The hospital is spread over four buildings. The OPD blocks situated on the ground floor and respective wards are located from the first floor and above. We are providing all the facilities of the hospital in addition to two square meals to indoor., Every year there has been steady increase in the no. of patients availing the OPD and IPD facility. In the year 2016 we have examined 570592 patients in OPD and 38806 Patients were hospitalized with average daily bed occupancy of 84%. With increasing patient number, all the departments have updated with infrastructure to give better care to sick and needy.
