Rajgad Dnyanpeeth was established in 1982, by hon. Anantraoji Thopte with a wider objective of bringing about intellectual awakening and transformation in educational, economic, cultural and social fields, in Maharashtra (India). The emphasis has all throughout been on the all round progress and welfare of the weaker section of the society. To impart dynamic education was the motto and dream of our Founder president Hon’ble Anantraooji Thopte. That has motivated to establish a professional Education college in rural area, in the year 1990. Rajgad Dnyanpeeth is providing education to students right from the primary level, to the post Graduate level. It has enlightened the minds of illiterate people. For this purpose we have started the primary and secondary senior Arts, Commerce and Science College, professional courses like D. Pharmacy, Auto engineering, BCS, MCS, Dairy Diploma, D.Ed., Horticulture, M.B.A., M.C.A., Engineering and B.Ed. Under imaginative, dynamic and socially committed leadership of the Founder-president, Hon. Anantraoji Thopte, Rajgad Dnyanpeeth has made astonishing strides in the field of education during a short span of 27 years. While its expansion activity has been enviable, academic excellence has not been lost. The sight of spacious and beautiful building, well equipped laboratories and libraries and above all experienced and student caring faculty that make Rajgad Dnyanpeeth institution distinct from others.

RDCOP Pharmacy College is established imparting degree pharmacy course. The college building includes laboratories, class room, tutorial room, library, administrative area, total built up area of more than 50,000 sq. ft. is an architectural splendor with ultra modern facilities, designed to suit the requirements of pharmacy education.

The college has been granted approval by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, which is an apex body controlling Technical Education in the country. The college has also been approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra State and B. Pharmacy & M. Pharmacy has been affiliated to pune University D. Pharmacy by M.S.B.T.E. Mumbai Recognition by all three apex bodies itself indicates the highest level of academic standards facilities available and intellegentia associated with the college.

Our mission is to contribute to the national programme of providing graduate trained pharmaceutical man power through prescribed training programme like D. Pharm., ADTAC / B. Pharm and M. Pharm Course. Adequately with professional pharmaceutical education and effective competency to undertake the national task of meeting social and pharmaceutical needs in industrial pharmacy, medicare programme, pharmaceutical education and research.
