The Balaji Institute of Telecom and Management (BITM), an AICTE approved institute run by Sri Balaji Society, is governed by our President, Prof. (Col.) A. Balasubramanian. BITM was started in the year 2002 with a focus on the dynamic needs of the industry in the ever-changing business environment and is driven by powerful forces of technological innovation, intense competition & globalization. BITM has been ranked 3rd amongst the top B-Schools in Telecom & Management in India by 'Outlook' (Dated September 27, 2004).BITM trains its student managers to become the enablers of tomorrow's world. It strives to transform individuals into multi-faceted, multi-skilled, multi-lingual, dynamic, well-groomed and well-trained corporate citizens through intense grooming with a variety of our course specializations ranging from Telecom, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Systems, with focus on IT & Telecom Management. Our Aim
Our aim is to create, through effective education; training and research, a renewable talent bank in varied disciplines of management science and telecom not only to help students to carve out their niche in the industry but also to benefit the industry. Admission to BITM is done through a scientific selection process. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT (PGDM Telecom & Marketing)

(i) It is a Full-Fledged Two Year Full-Time program in Management with focused specialization in Telecom Management as well as Marketing which means about 30 students can specialize in Telecom and 30 students can specialize in Marketing.
(ii) Eligibility for Telecom Specialization.(Only Engineers with specialization in Electronics, Electronics and
Telecommunications/ Telecommunications/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Instrumentation/ Electrical are eligible for admission to this course.)
(iii) Eligibility for Marketing : Any graduate with a track record of 50% as applicable to other courses.

Doctoral / PhD Programs Courses

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management Marketing (PGDBM Marketing)

POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT (PGDM - MARKETING & FINANCE)

(i) It is full-fledged Two Year Full Time Program in Management with focused specialization in Marketing or Finance.
(ii) Specialization will be offered in two disciplines to two groups of students which means about 30 students can specialize in Marketing and another 30 can specialize in Finance. The choice of selection of the students for the finance specialization will be left to an expert committee, which will be constituted by the Director Academics.
(iii) Finance Specialization
(aa) Preferred educational qualification for this course is commerce and engineering. Students from science stream are discouraged.
(bb) Few interested students from this batch can pursue SAP – FICO Module, in their third semester, subject to the availability of trained instructors from the industry, who will teach this subject in our Computer Labs. An additional fee of Rs. 20,000 will be charged for this course, from those who opt for this course at that stage. We have the licensed SAP software installed in our labs. These students have great opportunities to join the IT industry as SAP consultants. Hence, those specializing in SAP –FICO module will be fielded for the role of consultants only in IT and other companies during campus placements.
(cc) As the number for this class is restricted to a few qualified students opting for this specialization from PGDM batch of BIMM and BIMHRD, they will be clubbed together to cater for efficiency, maximum utilization of resources, common standards within the society and for greater co-ordination. This will be known as SBS batch but they will still belong to their respective institutes and remain in their roster for all purposes.
(dd) The SBS batch will be constituted in the first semester itself.
Note:- Adequate IT inputs shall be given to all the students.
