AIT Pune announces Admission to B.E ProgramsAIT was the brainchild of Gen B C Joshi.He realised the problem faced by the wards of the Army Personnel who had to keep on changing their schools as their parents got posted to different stations.Within a short span of 4 years AIT has carved a niche of its own.In such a short duration we have produced such a good result ( not only in Academics , but also in Co-curricular Activities ) that we are ranked amongst the top colleges in Pune.We have among the best staff with us and backed with such well equipped Labs it is no wonder why our students are excelling in every field in the industry. So good is our reputation in the industry that inspite of our first batch passing out in July 1998 ,our campus placements rank second out of about a dozen Engg. colleges under Pune. University.

AIT was founded in August 1994, as a result of the vision, and untiring efforts of Gen B.C Joshi PVSM, AVSM, ADC.The Institute was inaugurated by Gen S.Roy Chaudhary PVSM, ADC on 24th Feb, 1995.The beautiful campus, serene ambience and architectural splendor,state of the art infrastructure, all provide vital ingredients for a delectable academic environment for development of total quality engineers.

The first batch of BE students graduated in 1998 with flying colours.The succeeding batches continue to excel in all fields-be it sports,cultural or academics.And this tradition of excellence promises to remain unfizzed with every new batch coming to the Institution.

Within this short span of time, AIT has acquired National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC) and ISO 9001:2000 certifications. It has recently obtained National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for Mechanical, Computer Science and Electronics & Telecommunication Departments.
