Located in Arts, Science and Commerce College Badnapur came into existence in the year 1997 with faculties of Arts and Science at Under Graduate level, during subsequent year’s faculty of Commerce was established at Under Graduate level. Within a short span of time the college provided maximum opportunities to rural students by introducing distinct subjects like Physical-Education, Geography, Home Science, Electronics, Computer Science, Microbiology and Fishery Science. In 2001 post graduation courses in seven subjects were introduced. Four additional Post graduation courses in Science (Chemistry, Botany, Computer Science and Mathematics) were introduced in 2014 and recently in the year 2016 Government of Maharashtra granted permission to start Post graduate courses in Physics and Microbiology. Since 1997 college had remarkable journey, producing hundreds of graduates and post graduates in various discipline. In 11 acre campus, modern infrastructure has been developed to meet the requirements. In 2004 NAAC rated our college with B+ grade., Since form 1997 college has organized various National and State Level events in the field of academic and sports. Prominent personalities have visited the campus on several occasions. National Service Scheme and Earn and Learn Scheme are the means of social outreach for college moreover students form the region are successfully placed in various government and private sector in respective professions. The college management has provided modern infrastructure and all basic facilities to the every department. Well-equipped lab, library, language lab and smart classroom are added for the better implementation of teaching learning outcome. Well qualified and updated teaching staff is available for every possible help for students. Teachers are in touch with students on one to one basis. The central library is a prominent facility for teacher and students to access important books. Student portal is unique facility provided for the students where student can get assignment for their respective subjects. Students are also provided Wi-Fi facility to update knowledge and get the academic resources. Students are encouraged to participate in the seminar, group discussions, project work, study tour, certificate courses, study tour, field visit, exhibition and extension activities to develop personality and enhance the knowledge. Comprehensive sports facility has made available in the campus and effort has been made to create sports culture among students. Quality education is our Moto and we are continuously working on it, in future we hope and will work hard to achieve the quality and employable education for all in the region..
